| Item #2004-1 Filigree Egg with Custom Stand This piece began life as an actual egg. The outside of the egg was completely covered with Fimo. The egg was then cut and covered with a very detailed filigree made from light pearl green Fimo. The inside was coated with pearlized liquid polymer clay. Vines and leaves were made with Fimo mixed to simulate jade. And the beautiful pink roses were made using Cernit, a very durable clay. Great for small details. The egg itself is approx. 2 3/4" long and 2" wide. The stand or "hanger" sits on a base 4 1/2" in diameter and stands 7 1/2" tall. All wire work was also done by the artist. Stand is designed to resemble a rose. This piece of art is handmade and extremely detailed. The egg and base of the stand are both signed by the artist. This piece is truely "One of a Kind" and includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
