| This One of a Kind fairie was designed and lovingly hand sculpted by artist Pat Haight No molds were used. The entire figure was hand sculpted from polymer clay reinforced with wire armature, including her graceful fingers, for added strength. Forest Fairie has beautiful green glass eyes and her hair is English mohair, gently waved and applied one lock at a time. Her wings are made in a beautiful leaf shape and are permanently attached. They are made of TLS reinforced with wire, so they are flexible and gently posable. Forest Fairie is 5" tall seated, would be 10" tall if standing. She is seated on a custom made display. (She is not attached to bench.) Display stand bench is made from driftwood and river pebbles pulled from the beautiful Matanuska River near the artists home in Sutton, Alaska. Stand is 6" tall. Oval base is 7 1/2" x 10". Entire piece, with fairie seated on bench, measures approx. 8" wide, 10" long and 12" high. This piece is truely "One of a Kind" and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. |
